Social financial statements
The Foundation considers transparency and accountability two fundamental principles to be applied to its finances. For the most part, the resources of the City of Peace come from EU-funded or State-funded projects, but some come from private donors. For this reason, every year, since 2013, the Foundation has compiled its social financial report.
The Foundation sees its social financial report as tools to manage and make visible to all the impact of its activities, be it in economic and financial terms, or from a social and environmental point of view, and to measure their level of effectiveness in meeting needs and achieving the legitimate interests of the Foundation itself. The report is important tools for external and internal stakeholders, and encourage greater direct involvement, thus improving management processes through a systematic account of the results achieved and of the policy choices made.
