MigrAction
Getting to know those coming from afar is good for everybody
In recent years, acts of discrimination and racism have increased throughout Europe. Fear and insecurity in the face of unknown phenomena stem from a distortion of the information about migration often spread by the traditional media and by social media.
Therefore, it is essential to develop informative actions to divulge the individual history of each migrant and their real desire for liberation, and to disseminate correct information on human rights and migration.
Over the years, we have carried out many events and awareness campaigns to convey that refugees and migrants are not in themselves a threat to our way of life. On the contrary, as numerous independent scientific studies carried out by leading universities and international agencies show, migrants, and refugees in particular, can help solve many of the problems of our societies.
For this reason, since 2012, we have organised 140 events, locally and nationally (exhibitions, conferences, seminars, theatre performances, concerts, documentary screenings, public meetings, etc.), directly involving our guests, thus offering, on average, about one event every two weeks.
